2023 Tax Statements

1. Login to your Kangarootime Parent Account.
Visit the Kangarootime website on a desktop computer. Hover over 'Log in' then select 'Parents Login'. Enter your email and password.

2. Click on the 'Billing' tab on the left-hand side menu.


3. Click on the 'Statement' tab at the top of the screen.

4. Filter the data based on your desired time frame. 

You can manually type in the dates or select from the drop-down in your full-screen view.

5. Click 'Statement PDF' or 'Summary PDF' to download the files.

Your 'Statement PDF' will outline the itemized charges from your childcare center. Your 'Summary PDF' will outline the total amount of tuition paid during your selected time frame.

Please review the following information and register your Kangarootime account as soon as you receive the email invitation. You will not be able to check in/out your child without a Kangarootime account.

One member of your family will be receiving an invitation via email to register your family in the Kangarootime platform.  One person per family registers as the primary account holder, who will then invite guardians (any other parents, family members, or persons connected to the care of your children.) Part of this registration process will include uploading profile photos of you and your children to help ensure optimal security during Check In and Out, so please take a few minutes to snap a ‘selfie’ or find recent individual pictures that clearly show your faces! 

​Once you receive the invitation, please take the time to register promptly so you can begin enjoying all the great benefits that this new system will provide and don’t forget to download the free Kangarootime mobile App!

Parent Mobile App: How to Add Guardians
1. Click "Settings" then select "Add Guardian"
2. Enter email address of Guardian and click "Invite"

​*You will be prompted to add other family members upon signing up.
​Parent Mobile App: Resetting Password
Either in a browser window or on the mobile app, you can select 'Forgot Password?' which will prompt you through the process to reset your password.
​Parent Mobile App: How to Add Payment Methods
​1. Click Billing
2. Click on ACH Information to add checking or savings account information
3. Click on Card Information to add credit card information
4. Populate fields accordingly
5. Select “I authorize regularly scheduled payments to be deducted from this account.” if you wish the Center to Automatically deduct funds to pay your bill (see your Center’s Director for their ACH Schedule).
​Parent: How To Disable Autopay
​In order to change this setting in your account, please log in via the web (not the mobile app) by clicking here:   https://kangarootime.com/parents/login

1) Click "Billing"
2) Click "Payment Methods"
3) Click "edit" next to the desired payment method that indicates "Withdrawal Authorized" (blue pencil icon = edit)
4) Deselect the box that states "By checking this box, I am authorizing The Center to automatically withdraw my current balance from this account if they choose to participate in Authorized Withdrawal."

Once you have changed this setting, moving forward you will need to initiate payment when it is due by clicking the "Pay Now" button.

NOTE: If you pay your bill from your mobile app, it will pull funds from whichever account you have marked as your "Default" account.

If you wish to pay from an account other than your default account, you must do so from the web browser (not the mobile app)

Parent: Guardian Privileges 
​Primary Account Holders automatically have access to the following modules and will
invite other adults to be Guardians in the family’s Kangarootime account.
The privileges for Guardians can be edited by the Primary Account Holder or the

center/school after the guardian has been invited or migrated.

MESSAGES
● Messages can be sent to and from the center/school by any guardian with Messaging
privileges.

CALENDAR
● The calendar lists events created by the center/school to provide information about upcoming
events, deadlines, and important dates.
● Any guardian with Calendar privileges will be able to see all events.

GALLERY
● There is one photo gallery per family, not separate per child.
● If a guardian has Gallery privileges, they can see photos for all the children in the family that
were uploaded by the center/school.

DAILY NOTES
● Each child has individual daily notes created by the school or center (if they use this feature).
● Guardians with Daily Notes privileges will be able to log into their account via the mobile app or
website to see updates throughout the day and will receive the PDF upon child check out.

CHECK IN/OUT
● Guardians can be granted the permission to Check In/Out individual children within the family.
● If a guardian requests check in/out, the Primary Account Holder will get a notification when this
has been completed (if appropriate settings are selected).

​BILLING
● Guardians with billing privileges will get invoice reminders and will be able to view invoices, as
well as billing statements.
● Guardians with billing privileges will be able to save payment methods in order to make
payments online, whether partial payments or full.
● Guardians will not be able to see each other’s payment credentials, however the last four digits
of payment methods will display on the financial statement.
● Note: two users in the same family cannot both have autopay turned on, if so it will not be
triggered to deduct funds.
