Compass Child Care named Ag Education Sponsor at Anoka County Fair - 2022
The Anoka County Fair, Anoka, Minnesota, is pleased to announce Compass Child Care as the sponsor of the Agricultural Education Center. Michael Ahlers, Fair Board President said, “We are excited to add the new Agriculture Education Building this year. Today many people are not familiar with farming, and by seeing some of the exhibits, they will become more informed, while also learning a bit about where our food comes from, and the hard working people that provide it”. Compass Child Care was started in 2017 by 2 sisters, Ginger Olson and Amy Steiner who were chasing a dream of making a difference in the lives of children. Amy Steiner, co-owner of Compass Child Care states, “ At Compass Child Care we have a passion for fun, engaging and immersive programming. We are looking forward to incorporating how we teach and encourage every child in our care, even our youngest little explorers in the new Ag Education Building at The Anoka County Fair.” Compass Child Care has five locations, located in Ramsey, Coon Rapids, Blaine, East Bethel, and Isanti. In October, Compass Child Care will be celebrating 5 years of being a part of the Anoka County community. With headquarters in Blaine, Minnesota, Compass Child Care is dedicated to giving back to the local communities that support cutting edge early childhood education, and building long lasting relationships. In this new Ag Education Building, families will have the opportunity to be immersed in agriculture exhibits that are fun and educational. There will be dramatic, immersive play, sensory activities, interactive exhibits, a milking station, tractor simulator, and other interactive exhibits. “The Ag Education Center is something the fair has been working towards for the past few years. This building will give families an opportunity to learn together about agriculture in Anoka, Minnesota. We are very grateful for the support of Compass Child Care for helping us bring this project to the community”, said Anoka County Fair Manager, Michaela Liebl. The Compass Child Care Ag Education Center will be open from 11am – 9pm daily during the annual event. The Anoka County Fair will be held July 26-31, 2022, in Anoka, Minnesota.
