ExpectationsProgram We are following the lead of Ms. Lisa Anderson, as she has lead a wonderful Christmas program at Isanti for many years. Ms. Meghann will be working with the children, during music time, on songs and movements to go with. It's your responsibility to be practicing the songs at least once a day from late Oct. until the day of the program. Parent Gift Parent gifts will be presented at the event. Every family should go home with a parent gift. Please look below at the parent gift ideas we have curated. School Showcase Space Each school will need to use a poster board or table to highlight their school. Fill it with art, pictures, decorations all that show off your students and teacher’s hard work! If you'd like to have a mini "Art Show", that is another idea for your space. Marketing/Clear Communication Be thinking ahead. Be sure that parents are aware of the event and are excited about it! Nora will send out a Save the Date by November 1st and giving out invitations, along with an RSVP list by November 22nd. November Photo Shoots Nora will be visiting each center in early November to take Christmas photos of the children. These photos will be used in a Christmas video and can be used as part of the parent gifts. During the photo sessions, please ensure that the children are prepared, focused, and smiling. Teachers are expected to be present and available to assist with keeping the children engaged and making the process run smoothly. Your support in ensuring a positive experience for the children is greatly appreciated. To be thinking about...- What apparel you would like your students/staff to wear. - What parts your staff will play in the program. - How the children will be lined up, walking on and off the stage Day of DutiesPlease arrive 15 minutes before the event to be ready before families arrive. If you’re running late, let us know so we can plan accordingly. During the event, lead songs, assist children with motions, and help guide them through transitions to keep them engaged. Showcase all of your time and effort! |
